Francesco Bagnaia put an end to the misfortunes in the Sprint races by winning this Saturday at the Italian MotoGP Grand Prix in Mugello. The Ducati rider took the lead right after the start and was never overtaken.
In an interview with the official broadcast, the champion of 2022 and 2023 confessed that he faced some difficulties in the last laps: ‘It’s incredible. I enjoyed every lap. The final part of the race was very complicated, but honestly, I really enjoyed it, the bike is working perfectly‘.
This victory follows three Sprint races in which he had to retire for different reasons and is also at home, and Bagnaia did not fail to emphasize his satisfaction by stating:
– Tomorrow will be tough as well, but finishing a Sprint race is always good and it’s the first one after four Grand Prix. So, I am very happy and winning again here is incredible, in front of all this amazing crowd. I love them.
