Jorge Martín won the Sprint race at the Valencia MotoGP Grand Prix, ensuring that the title fight will go down to the last race of the season – which takes place tomorrow at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit.
Forte arranque de Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) para se colocar na liderança, antes de ser ultrapassado por Maverick Viñales (Aprilia). Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) chegou rapidamente a terceiro. Ainda na primeira volta, o espanhol conseguiu colocar-se na frente de Bagnaia, mas no processo perdeu posições para Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) e Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda).Martín wasted no time in overtaking Márquez. With nine laps to go, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) retired from the race after a crash at turn six, while preparing to overtake Bagnaia and take fifth place.
There was a change in the lead on the seventh lap, with Binder overtaking Viñales… who was then overtaken by Martín and Márquez. On the eighth lap, Martín passed Binder to take the lead. Bagnaia was in fifth place.
Until the end, there were no more changes in the top positions. Binder tried his best, but couldn’t surpass Martín and the Spanish rider won with a 0.190s lead over the South African. Márquez finished third, with Viñales in fourth and Bagnaia in fifth. These results give the Italian a 14-point lead before the last race of the season.
