Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner didn’t hold back after his loss to Carlos Alcaraz in the Rome Masters final, taking a sarcastic jab at his brother for choosing Formula 1 over supporting him. Despite eyeing his fifth Masters 1000 title and the first in Rome, Sinner fell short against the impressive performance of Alcaraz.

Sinner, who hadn’t competed since his Australian Open win due to a doping ban, displayed a competitive spirit but couldn’t match Alcaraz’s dominance on the court. After the match, Sinner thanked his supporters for their energy and encouragement, while also playfully calling out his brother for missing the final to watch a different sporting event.

In a gracious move, Sinner congratulated fellow Italian Jasmine Paolini for her victories in the women’s singles and doubles categories, highlighting the success of Italian players in the tournament. Alcaraz, on the other hand, praised Sinner for his remarkable comeback to the top level of tennis after a challenging period.

The Rome Masters final was not just about the competition on the court but also the personal dynamics and sportsmanship displayed by the players. Sinner’s witty remark added a touch of humor to the event, showcasing the camaraderie and competitive spirit among athletes at the top of their game.
