Fabio Quartararo returned to the MotoGP podiums at the Indian GP, finishing third in the main race. Now, he faces the Japanese GP – which is his team, Monster Energy Yamaha’s home round.
The Frenchman started by mentioning that the result last Sunday was important in terms of motivation: ‘The third place at the Indian GP was a good result. It was a good encouragement for me and the team before Yamaha’s home GP‘.
Regarding the Japanese round, Quartararo commented: ‘Going to Japan is always nice. I enjoyed visiting Yamaha’s headquarters. It’s always good to see Yamaha’s employees. They are very enthusiastic, which creates a positive feeling before we start the competition weekend. I also like the Motegi circuit‘.
After a strong performance last weekend, the 2021 champion emphasized that he wants to maintain the momentum in Japan: ‘I hope we can achieve more good results this weekend. We will do our best!‘.
