After the competitive setback of recent seasons, especially last year’s, Fabio Quartararo wants significant improvements from Monster Energy Yamaha – at a time when he is nearing the end of his contract.
Not surprisingly, the 2021 world champion wants to fight for the top again after failing to achieve a single victory in 2023. And although the title is always the ambition, he moderates his goals for this year.
In an interview with SPEEDWEEK.com, Quartararo stated: ‘Right now we are in the top ten, but my personal goal is to be world champion because I am a winner. But realistically… if we fight for the top three or the top four in the championship, it would be good. Hopefully we can achieve that’.
