Álex Márquez has been one of the standout riders in this early stage of the MotoGP season, already having one win and four podiums in six rounds.
Despite his DNF at the French GP, in what was his first major mistake this year, the Spaniard from BK8 Gresini remains second in the championship – but now a bit further behind the leader, Marc Márquez (Ducati Lenovo).
But what are the Álex Márquez’s chances of continuing to surprise and really fight for the title? Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) shared his opinion in a press conference:
– He’s the most consistent rider so far, he’s the one who really shows his speed. And also, when you win your first race, you always get a bit the boost of winning more. I will not speak about a percentage, but he is a top contender for the title.
