Fabio Quartararo is officially a Knight of the Legion of Honor of France. The MotoGP world champion was decorated at the Élysée Palace this Tuesday by the President of the country, Emmanuel Macron.
Only two drivers had received such distinction before Quartararo, both from the world of motorsports: four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost and nine-time world rally champion Sébastien Loeb.
The Order of the Legion of Honor is a decoration instituted in 1802, rewarding deeds worthy of military or civil merit to the French nation.
