F.B. Mondial brought three new motorcycles with three different engine capacities to the show, which will bring the brand to a more general audience.
The most interesting novelty is the ‘Piega 452’ naked sports bike, with an interesting line that appeals to a more performance-oriented public. The other novelties are smaller, namely the Flex 300 and the Spartan 250, aimed at urban mobility.
F.B Mondial Piega 452
A 450 cc twin-cylinder that can be ridden with an A2 license, with a power output of 35 kW, is the most eagerly awaited of the company’s new products. Weight is limited to 159 kg. With an angular, modern design by Rodolfo Frascoli and some interesting technical solutions, such as the single-sided swingarm and Brembo radial front brake caliper.
F.B Mondial Flex 300
The smallest of the house in the sport classic range, aimed at various types of users of all ages (from 18 with an A2 license), to be used mainly in urban contexts and also valid for out-of-town trips. With 17-inch wheels, 6-speed gearbox, 37 mm inverted fork and 4-piston radial brake calipers.
F.B Mondial Spartan 250
The Spartan 250 is a proposal for the urban environment and combines modern and retro for a public aged 18 and over, characterized by its low seating position. With 17″ spoked wheels, 6-speed transmission, conventional fork, double rear shock absorbers and 2-piston axial calipers.
Cesare Galli, CEO of Pelpi International, which runs the Italian company that manages and owns the F.B. Mondial brand, said
“This year we wanted to raise the bar and make F.B. Mondial a protagonist also in categories with higher engine capacities than those in which we have been present until now.
We’ve entered different segments: with the hypernaked twin-cylinder Piega 452, we’ve created a completely new bike in the segment of medium-sized sports bikes with better performance, aimed at those who like challenges and sporty riding, while with the Flex 300 and Spartan 250 we’ve focused on affordable bikes, ideal for everyday use and characterized by a distinctive and elegant design with a retro style.
