After winning for the first time in 2023, Enea Bastianini now faces the MotoGP Qatar Grand Prix at Losail. It is a special circuit, where he made his debut victories in the premier class in 2022.
The Ducati rider admitted that he was relieved with the result in Sepang last weekend, now heading to Qatar with the aim of trying to finish on the top step of the podium again:
– Last week in Sepang I finally took a weight off my chest and now I feel more free! I am enjoying riding the bike again and consequently being fast. This weekend we will compete in Qatar, another track where I was competitive in the past and where I won my first MotoGP race last year! I don’t know if I can repeat, but I definitely want to try!
