The Ducati rider fractured his ankle and left hand, undergoing two surgical procedures at the Policlinico de Modena. The operations were successful.
Now, Bastianini will begin the recovery phase and already knows he will miss the San Marino, Indian, and Japanese GPs. It is worth noting that after the crash in the sprint race in Portimão, the rider had already missed four rounds.
