Currently in 19th place in the MotoGP World Championship, Enea Bastianini finished in the top ten in the two rounds after his return to action. Now he is competing in the Thai GP, where the Ducati rider will try to continue his momentum.
The Italian admitted that he hopes to find more favorable conditions than last year in Buriram: ‘I am happy to be racing in Thailand again! This will be my second time at the Chang International Circuit on a MotoGP bike. Unlike 2022, I hope the weather conditions are better during the race. Last year was very difficult because of the heavy rain, but I still managed a good sixth place’.
As for his goals, Bastianini stated: ‘The goal will be to try to be fast from the start and get a good qualifying position. In Australia, I had some difficulties in the early laps of the race, while I was faster in the second part. Along with the team, we will work to be as prepared as possible for the sprint and for the GP on Sunday‘.
