Marc Márquez completed over 70 laps yesterday on the second day of MotoGP testing in Sepang – with tough conditions and a consistently challenging track. However, this Thursday he once again dedicated himself and added another 54 laps in a phase where he continues to adapt and get to know the Ducati Desmosedici GP23.
The Gresini Spaniard admitted that he pushed himself to the limit, but also wanted to make every possible effort and avoid the feeling that something was left undone:
– I was really at the limit. That’s why the mid-day break was longer. But, for example, another Sprint race simulation was not planned after the 72 laps yesterday. But I said, “Well, I need to make one last effort.” I don’t know if I will reach the level of the top riders in the future, but I don’t want to have any doubts. Keep working, keep working, that’s the key. I don’t want to have the feeling of “oh, you didn’t do this.” I will do it and I will insist on trying to do it.
