Ducati has been the dominant constructor in MotoGP, but there is always room for improvement and they intend to make a change in their factory team – wanting Manuel Poggiali as a rider coach as early as 2024.
This news was reported by the website GPOne.com. The coach is currently with Gresini and his work has caught the attention of Ducati Corse’s general manager – Gigi Dall’Igna. There is no official announcement yet, but the hiring could be finalized soon.
For Enea Bastianini and Francesco Bagnaia, it would be another help to do their best on the track. If Poggiali takes on the new role, he may also remain connected to Gresini on a part-time basis.
