Ducati remains ahead in the MotoGP Constructors’ and Teams’ World Championships after the Americas GP. However, their lead has narrowed with the result from Austin.
In the Teams’ standings, Ducati Lenovo Team is in the lead, being the first to surpass the hundred-point mark (109). However, with the help of Maverick Viñales’ victories, Aprilia climbed from fourth to second and is 14 points behind – before the Americas GP, this position was held by Pramac Racing, with 16 points less than Ducati.
Red Bull KTM dropped to fourth, now only ten points ahead of the satellite Red Bull GasGas Tech3. Gresini is in sixth with 50 points, while Monster Energy Yamaha is eighth with 22 points. Below the Japanese manufacturers are Trackhouse Racing by Miguel Oliveira in ninth with 20 points, Repsol Honda and LCR Honda both with seven points each.
As for the Constructors’ World Championship, Ducati remains in the lead ahead of KTM, but the manufacturer from Mattighofen gained a point, now having a 20-point disadvantage. Aprilia, in third, is 24 points behind, followed by Yamaha with 19 points. Honda is fifth and last, with the same eight points as before Austin.
