Three stages, one challenge, one goal: to virtually climb Monte Bianco on Ducati Scramblers. The Days of Joy, the Ducati experience designed to offer total immersion in the world of the “Land of Joy” in a perfect blend of road riding, outdoor activities and pure relaxation, are back in a completely new format. The Ducati Scrambler for 2024 launches a challenge to all motorcyclists who want to get involved: accumulate the greatest number of meters of positive altitude difference covered during the three stages and earn a place in the history of the Days of Joy.
“Elevation” is the name of the challenge launched by the Ducati Scrambler to all enthusiasts. Participants will follow a studied itinerary that will allow them to reach the positive difference in altitude of 4,805 meters, equal to the height of Italy’s highest peak, Monte Bianco. All those who complete at least one of the routes will be officially included in the Days of Joy “Hall of Joy”, which will bear witness to their exploits. Those who complete all three stages will receive the Days of Joy 2024 Gold Medal, which will give them access to exclusive content from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.
Along the route, created in the shape of a ring, there will be three base camps for three relaxation and entertainment stops that will offer different experiences throughout the day.
The challenge takes place on an important anniversary for the Ducati Scrambler: exactly 10 years ago, at WDW 2014, the first Icon was presented to thousands of enthusiasts. It was an instant success: the “Land of Joy” won the hearts of more than 110,000 motorcyclists around the world. Over the next decade, the Ducati Scrambler range joined the Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle and Classic with iconic models like the Desert Sled and Café Racer, and exclusive bikes like the Fasthouse or Italia Independent.
All the models in the Ducati Scrambler 2024 range will be available for the Days of Joy activities. An exclusive novelty this year will be the possibility for five participants at each stage to take part in the experience on their own Scrambler.
There are three events on the 2024 calendar: the first in Misano (July 29), the second in Rome (September 21) and the third in Cinque Terre (October 19).
