While several manufacturers face declining demand and excess stock, Ducati has been navigating the current motorcycle market difficulties effectively.
The marketing and communication director at Ducati, Patrizia Cianetti, explained to Motorcycle News that although the challenges are common to many manufacturers, at Borgo Panigale has maintained a balance:
– Of course, the situation is the same for every manufacturer and the post-pandemic peak, but I think we’ve been able to keep the attention on the right level of stock, and the right level of delivery.
The Italian also said: ‘So, dealers and clients, in order to avoid what’s happening for many other manufacturers now, where dealers are full of stock with no demand. We want to protect the client, and we want to protect the value of our bikes and in fact the current residual value of our bikes is very high – it’s one of the highest. I think we’ve been able to understand the situation’.
