A Diavel V4, a muscle cruiser presented by Ducati at the World Première 2023, is an international success after only one year, recognized by major design institutions, international press, and enthusiasts from all over the world.
The unique design of the Diavel V4 – muscular, sporty, excessive, and elegant at the same time – has received prestigious awards such as the Good Design Award, awarded by the “Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design”, and the Special Mention for Design Excellence in Product Design at the German Design Awards 2024. Two awards that join those already conquered by previous Diavel models, confirming Ducati’s design as the most appreciated worldwide.
The Good Design Award was established in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, and it is the oldest and most prestigious design award in the world. In this 2023 edition, the Good Design jury selected over 1100 entries from more than 55 countries to award the Good Design® Awards for Design Excellence.
The German Design Awards are presented every two years by the jury of the German Design Council. It is a recognition in the field of design awarded by the ‘Rat für Formgebung’ and supported by the German Ministry of Economy and Technology.
The style of the Diavel V4 was the protagonist of the Diavel Design Nights in Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, London, New York, and Shanghai. Once again, thanks to its design, the model received the “Most Beautiful Motorcycle” award at EICMA 2022.
The Diavel V4 also amazed international audiences and press with its ability to combine style, sophistication, and performance. This motorcycle surprises with its dynamic qualities, pleasant performance, and the ability to be rewarding both in mixed driving and in more urban and relaxed environments, thanks to an unmistakable ‘stage presence’. During 2023, the Diavel V4 was elected the Cruiser of the Year at the MCN Awards 2023, Best Naked Motorcycle of the Year for the American website Motorcycle.com, Best Cruiser at the Töff Awards in Switzerland, and Best Power Cruiser by the Filipino publication C! Magazine.
The Diavel V4 also proved capable of captivating fans of automotive luxury. In fact, all the motorcycles in the numbered and limited series of the Ducati Diavel for Bentley, the new collector’s edition model born from the collaboration between Ducati and Bentley, and presented in the seventh episode of the World Première 2024, were assigned. The motorcycle was revealed to the public at a fuorisalone event in the context of Art Basel Week in Miami Beach, the transatlantic edition of the prestigious European art fair.
Ducati integrated numerous characteristic design elements from the Batur, a model produced in a very limited series that anticipates future stylistic trends of Bentley, into the sophisticated comfortable and high-performance technical base of the Diavel V4, creating a unique motorcycle in terms of refinement and design. The Diavel for Bentley is a numbered series motorcycle limited to 500+50 units. In addition to the 500 copies of the Diavel for Bentley, a series of only 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliner, named after the department where Bentley’s special and unique automobiles are made. The 50 Diavel for Bentley Mulliner were made available exclusively to the same number of Bentley customers.
