One of the models from Chinese manufacturer Doufeng is the S1 110 tricycle, updated for the second half of 2024. Available in the Asian market, this vehicle is notable for its scooter-like appearance, despite being a tricycle.
A unique feature of this motorcycle is its versatile powertrain: it can either be equipped with a combustion engine of 110cc, now upgraded to deliver more power (around 9 hp), or with an electric version.
The S1 110 features two front wheels, spaced 385 millimeters apart, with a multi-link suspension system. All three wheels are 10 inches in diameter and are equipped with disc brakes. For braking, the vehicle uses a combined braking system (CBS).
Despite being a motorcycle, the S1 110 includes a roof that extends to a height of 1,760 millimeters. It also boasts LED lighting, keyless ignition, a USB port, and a windshield wiper.
In its electric version, the updated Doufeng S1 110 is powered by a motor with about 1,500 watts (around 2 hp of nominal power) and a maximum of 3.5 kW (just under 5 hp). The range is approximately 80 km.
As part of its latest update, the S1 110 is now available in three new colors. The model is only available in China, priced at around €1,400 for the combustion engine version and €1,250 for the electric variant.
