The annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) will take place in over 950 cities in more than 100 countries next weekend, with more than 70,000 motorcyclists already registered to take part.
Founded in Sydney, Australia, in 2012 by Mark Hawwa, the event encourages vintage and retro motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world to “dress up” and take part in a group ride near them – while raising money for prostate cancer research and Movember’s men’s mental health charity initiatives.
As well as collecting donations, the Hinckley factory will also be giving away a Triumph Thruxton Final Edition café racer worth €17,547.63 to this year’s top fundraiser worldwide – a bike that will be produced until 2024 just to mark the end of the model in the brand’s range.
