In just over a week, the 2025 Dakar edition will begin in Saudi Arabia. The theoretically most competitive motorcycles are racing models, but there are also others accessible to regular customers. Here are some examples.

The KTM 450 Rally Replica is the closest version of a factory rally bike available at dealerships. It features a single-cylinder 449.3cc engine paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The 2025 version has a 35-liter fuel tank with a new design, and the spoked rims are made of aluminum.
It has a fully adjustable WP XACT Pro front fork and an adjustable handlebar. The frame is laser-cut and hand-welded, and at the rear, there is a new aluminum swingarm and a fully adjustable WP XACT Pro shock absorber.
The braking system includes a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. It is equipped with a digital roadbook, an Engine Management System (EMS), and rally-specific ECU mappings for the airbox, engine, and exhaust combination.
Fantic XEF 450 Rally Factory

Limited to 50 units, the Fantic XEF 450 Rally Factory is also available to the general public. The Factory Launch is numbered on the steering yoke.
The motorcycle comes with a professional roadbook and controls, as well as a radiator mounted below the headlight. The titanium exhaust system was developed in collaboration with Arrow.
The engine is a single-cylinder 450cc unit, Euro 5 compliant, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The frame is made of aluminum, with a steel subframe.
It features a KYB front fork and rear shock absorber, both fully adjustable. The hydraulic brakes include a 300mm front disc and a 245mm rear disc. The fuel tank has a capacity of up to 30 liters.

There are two Kove motorcycles at Dakar that you can own. The 450 Rally has a single-cylinder 449cc engine, a five-speed gearbox, and power reaching up to 38 kW.
The frame is a twin-spar design, and the suspension is fully adjustable, both for the front fork and rear shock. The front features a floating disc and a two-piston caliper, while the rear has a disc with a single-piston caliper.
It includes a TFT display, a 32-liter fuel tank, and two seat height options: high (960mm) and low (910mm).
The Kove 450 Rally Ex comes with a single-cylinder 449.9cc engine, a five-speed gearbox, and fully adjustable suspension. It shares the same type of brakes as the 450 Rally. However, it has a double-cradle frame, a 34-liter fuel tank, and a seat height of 960mm.
