Davide Brivio was announced last week as the team manager of Trackhouse Racing in MotoGP. Despite not being directly involved with the Aprilia Racing factory team, Noale’s CEO, Massimo Rivola, has no doubt that it is a beneficial addition for everyone.
The factory team leader acknowledged the connection made with the satellite team, as well as Brivio’s experience, considering the Italian as an asset:
“First of all, welcome to Davide. I consider him a friend and I am sure that he will bring some benefits to the whole project. He has much more experience than me, so I am sure he will bring something. It is very good news for Trackhouse, but I also think it is very good news for Aprilia. We are working so closely with this team because of our philosophy. We sat down with Justin Marks [owner of Trackhouse] and decided to have a kind of unique project. And having Davide is very good news. I am very excited to work with him.”
Throughout his career, Brivio has worked on successful projects with Yamaha and Suzuki, standing out alongside Valentino Rossi, but also as the strongman of Suzuki in a project that culminated in Joan Mir’s title in 2020. In the past three years, he has had experience in motorsport with Alpine.
