It was a MotoGP return that was already expected and now it has been confirmed: Davide Brivio is the new team manager of Trackhouse Racing, where Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira competes, months after leaving the Alpine project in motorsport.
The Italian needs no introduction in MotoGP, having been a key member of the successful Suzuki project that ended in 2022 or the Yamaha during Valentino Rossi’s time – in fact, he played a key role in Il Dottore’s move to the Iwata manufacturer in 2004.
Brivio’s hiring demonstrates Trackhouse Racing’s strong ambition to achieve success, counting on one of the most proven leaders in MotoGP. Wilco Zeelenberg remains with the team after being part of its predecessor.
The team owner, Justin Marks, stated in a press release: ‘It’s incredible to have someone of Davide’s caliber and experience leading the Trackhouse Racing MotoGP Team. We are all humbled by the commitment he has made. It became evident from the moment I met Davide that he would be someone who fits perfectly into the Trackhouse culture. I know he will lead us to great things on and off the track‘.
