Chinese motorcycles are numerous, and Cyclone, part of the Zonsen group, has recently unveiled a new sportbike – the RC 600, with an impactful yellow design. This, named the Yellow Speed Demon, pays homage to a race car from the early 20th century.
Only 100 units of this «Centennial Legend Edition» will be produced. The front fairing with large wings reminiscent of MotoGP bikes and the side fairings with shark gill-style vents are other unique features.
The engine is a twin-cylinder with about 550cc displacement, capable of delivering 59 hp at 8,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It has a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, according to Motorrad Online. It will be able to reach speeds of 180 km/h.
In terms of chassis, there’s a USD fork at the front and a central shock at the rear, while the brakes consist of a disc on each wheel and come with an ABS system. Both wheels measure 17 inches, and the bike’s fuel tank has a 15-liter capacity. Onboard, the rider has access to a TFT display.
Only for sale in China, the 100 limited-production units of the Cyclone RC 600 are priced at approximately €3,700. It is unclear whether the model will reach Europe, but the brand has already started establishing dealerships in Portugal and Spain.
