Julio García won the first race of the Most round in the Supersport 300 World Championship this afternoon – a highly intense race, with the top ten separated by less than a second at the finish!

Pole position went to Humberto Maier (Yamaha AD78 FIMLA by MS Racing), who, after dominating Friday, continued his strong performance – remaining one of the riders fighting for victory from start to finish.

The same can be said for García (Prodina Kawasaki) and David Salvador (Team ProDina XCI/Kawasaki) – who had to serve a Long Lap penalty due to an infraction committed during Superpole.

Uncertainty reigned until the very end, with a large group battling for the lead positions. García prevailed, beating Salvador by just 12 thousandths. Beñat Fernández (Team#109 Retro Traffic Kove) completed the podium 0.041s behind, followed by Maier, only 41 thousandths off the winner. Any closer would be nearly impossible.

The top five was rounded out by Matteo Vannucci (Pata AG Motorsport Italia) at 0.136s. The leading group even included two more riders, but in the final corner Daniel Mogeda (Pons Motorsport Italika/Kawasaki) crashed following an incident with Fernández – who is still under investigation.
