Nicolò Bulega arrives at his home circuit as championship leader, representing Aruba.it Racing Ducati with the weight of expectation on his shoulders. The Italian has controlled much of the season so far and will look to maximise his local knowledge of Misano to extend his points advantage before the official round begins.

BMW's Toprak Razgatlioglu closed the gap by three points at Most and approaches Misano with confidence, having secured a hat-trick at the circuit last year aboard his M 1000 RR. The Turkish ace views this test as crucial for maintaining his championship challenge and finding the edge needed to continue his points recovery mission.

Multiple Ducati riders will participate in the test, including Álvaro Bautista, who continues rebuilding confidence on the Panigale V4 R after a challenging start to the season. Danilo Petrucci also joins the action, buoyed by three recent podium finishes at Most, demonstrating the Italian manufacturer's strength across different teams.

Yamaha's presence includes Jonathan Rea continuing his adaptation process following his return to active competition, while Andrea Locatelli seeks greater consistency in his performances. The Japanese manufacturer will also offer WorldSSP leader Stefano Manzi a rare opportunity to sample the powerful R1 machinery during Wednesday's session.

This test arrives at a crucial juncture in the season, with several riders battling for prominent championship positions. The temporal proximity to the official Misano round makes every lap and setup adjustment potentially decisive for the outcome of the world title fight.
