Last year, CFMOTO introduced two entirely new models, one of which is the 500 SR – set to be the base for the retro café racer Voom.
With a four-cylinder inline engine boasting a displacement of 500 cubic centimeters and producing 79 hp, the bike features a new aluminum frame. The design lines clearly draw inspiration from the café racer style, evident in the fuel tank and the front fairing similar to the Yamaha XSR 900 GP. It also includes a dual LED headlight.
Despite its retro look, the technology is modern, featuring a TFT display on the dashboard, a steering damper, and radial brake calipers. Additionally, there is tire pressure monitoring displayed on the instrument panel.
This four-cylinder CFMOTO 500 SR Voom was announced exclusively in China, with a price of 34,980 yuan (4,500 euros) according to the site Motorrad Online. Whether it will reach Europe remains uncertain.
