CFMOTO enters the cruiser market with the new 450CL-C.

The Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMOTO has been on the rise lately, launching all kinds of new and interesting models in the global market. The brand recently announced the global launch of its premium beginner model, the 450NK. This sporty naked bike is aimed at riders looking for a versatile and stylish motorcycle. After the 450NK, CFMOTO introduced the 450CL-C in the Chinese market. The relaxed cruiser bike is considered the balance between style and comfort, and is built on the same foundation as the 450NK. According to CFMOTO, the 450CL-C is a “masterpiece of aerodynamic design that captivates with every glance.” In fact, at least from a style perspective, it can be said that the 450CL-C is a beautiful machine, combining retro style with modern design. Its rounded fuel tank and circular LED headlight are examples of retro design, while the integration of inverted front forks, dual-channel ABS, and its semi-exposed trellis frame are all modern.Without a doubt, the most notable aspect of this motorcycle is its engine. Just like the 450NK, CFMoto equipped the 450CL-C with its new 449cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected twin-cylinder engine, with a 270-degree crankshaft. This configuration means that the engine sounds and delivers power similar to a 90-degree V-twin, making it ideal for the cruiser segment. In terms of performance, the 450CL-C produces 40 hp (30 kilowatts) at 8,000 rpm and 42 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed manual transmission and, interestingly, a Gates belt drive.

The base of the cruiser is made up of an inverted front fork with 37-millimeter tubes, as well as a centrally mounted rear shock absorber. It has a single front disc brake with 12.5 inches (320 millimeters), as well as a rear disc with 8.7 inches (220 millimeters). It comes equipped with safety features such as traction control and dual-channel ABS as standard.
