Last year, CFMOTO introduced the 675 SR in China, and in July, it unveiled the 675 SR-R – which is the first ever Supersport of the Chinese manufacturer featuring a three-cylinder engine.
Already homologated in China, the bike boasts an engine with a displacement of 675 cubic centimeters, capable of producing 95 hp at 11,000 rpm. The maximum torque is 67 Nm. It features a multi-plate clutch.
The front suspension consists of a KYB fork with adjustable damping, while the rear features an equally adjustable shock absorber. The frame is made of steel, and the swingarm is constructed from aluminum.
In terms of the braking system, there are two 300-millimeter discs and two four-piston radial calipers on the front wheel. At the rear, there is a floating disc.
The design is one of the most striking features of the CFMOTO 675 SR-R. Aggressive and futuristic, it clearly shows that it is a bike with racing in its “DNA.” It has an LED headlight at the front and floating LED lights at the rear.
But could this model reach the European market? According to Motorrad Online, despite being homologated in China, for now, CFMOTO has only presented the bike for the Chinese market. However, Europe would be a logical step: besides having a collaboration with KTM, which already sells CFMOTO models on the continent, it would have no direct competition in its segment.
