Francesco Bagnaia leads the MotoGP World Championship with three rounds to go, but after having several dozen points ahead, he is now only 13 points ahead of Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati). Therefore, a fight for the title until the end is anticipated.
Carlo Pernat gave an interview to the website Motosan.es, in which he argued that the crash suffered in the second corner of the Catalunya GP had a particularly important impact on the Italian Ducati rider:
– The big problem was in Barcelona, when he made that mistake. He was very lucky not to suffer fractures. However, that fall cost him some points. It affected him psychologically and a little physically. I think Pecco is very strong mentally and Martín is more aggressive at the moment and is improving. Of course, these points of advantage will be very important.
