Bridgestone Corporation announced today that it will supply BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 tires as original equipment for the new MT-09, a European road sports bike launched by Yamaha.
The new version of Yamaha’s MT-09 was developed under the concept of “The Knight Horse,” further enhancing the riding quality of “The Rodeo Master,” which has been advocated to date. In terms of design, the “Torque & Agile” character has been further refined.
Through long-term tire co-creation with Yamaha, Bridgestone continues to support the company, adding value to its wide range of motorcycles. The BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 M-Spec tires, specifically designed to equip the new MT-09, are state-of-the-art sport tires featuring a new design aimed at optimizing tire contact area stiffness fluctuations. In this way, they maintain excellent water repellency properties for driving on wet surfaces, improving grip and other performance attributes that are crucial for sport riding. These characteristics support the new driving experience provided by the MT-09 through increased grip and greater stability in both straight-line and sharp-angle driving.
