Brad Binder had his best season since joining MotoGP, finishing in fourth place with 293 points. He stepped onto the podium in five main races, in addition to winning two Sprint races. However, the Red Bull KTM rider does not end the year entirely satisfied.
Questioned about whether he was pleased with the 2023 season, the South African denied: ‘Not really. To be honest, I expected much more this season. I feel like we were capable of much more, but I made a lot of mistakes and wasted many opportunities. But, it’s okay. I think that’s life, it can happen – it seems like with this new format everyone made a lot of mistakes‘.
With 2023 over, Binder now looks towards the next season hopeful for stronger results: ‘I am really looking forward to starting again next season. We have these months to build and understand, try to find small improvements in all areas. And I believe that if we can do that, we can come back next season with everything we need to truly fight for some wins’.
