With Bonovo Action BMW’s departure, the Bavarian manufacturer loses one of its partner teams in the World Superbike Championship (WSBK). This team has been running two factory M 1000 RR bikes this year, in addition to those of the factory team, ROKiT BMW. Consequently, the strategy will be redefined for 2025.

– We will definitely continue with two factory bikes. We made the decision this year, based on our collaboration with Bonovo, to field four bikes of the same level and with the same type of support. To do this, you need a trusted partner, and with mr. [Jürgen] Roder’s unfortunate decision to leave the championship, we decided that the company’s official commitment will be focused solely on the SMR team [ROKiT BMW].

The ROKiT BMW riders for 2025 are confirmed, with Michael van der Mark and Toprak Razgatlioglu continuing. With Bonovo’s departure and two fewer BMW bikes on the grid, the future of Garrett Gerloff and especially Scott Redding, who has an option to renew for next year, remains uncertain.
