A new sports bike from Bimota Kawasaki ZX-10RR could very well be hitting the roads in 2025, after the surprising announcement that the Rimini brand will be partnering with the Japanese powerhouse for the 2025 WSBK season.
In late April, Kawasaki confirmed that the KRT factory team would be leaving WSBK at the end of this season, with the “green” brand returning in 2025 with a new machine using a Bimota frame and a ZX-10RR engine.
This is possible because the Japanese brand owns a 49.9% stake in the Italian company, with Bimota using Kawasaki engines in all of its current road and off-road enduro models.
Although not much is known about this new competition model, rules established by the FIM suggest that a road bike will also have to accompany this model in order to compete.
