Ayumu Sasaki reacted in the best way to the lost title last week, ending the Moto3 World Championship season with a victory at the Valencia GP. As is customary in the category, there was an intense battle until the end.

The podium trio only changed seven laps from the end, when David Alonso (Valresa GasGas Aspar) moved up to third. Öncü, on the other hand, dropped to fifth, also losing a position to Ortolá. With five laps to go, a change in the lead, with Sasaki moving to the top of the standings. Veijer dropped to fourth, being overtaken by Ortolá and Alonso.
With two laps to go, Sasaki remained in the lead, but Ortolá dropped back to fourth when he was passed by Alonso and Veijer. A group of five riders was fighting for victory on the final lap. Resisting the pressure, Sasaki secured the win, beating Alonso. Ortolá was third, with Veijer and Öncü completing the top five. Champion Jaume Masiá (Leopard Racing/Honda) had a quiet performance and finished in 13th.
