The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will host two more days of testing for the World Superbike Championship this Monday and Tuesday, and Axel Bassani knows exactly what aspects he and his team will have to work on.
Recently arrived at Kawasaki after many years at Ducati, the Italian spoke about his work in Portugal and in which areas he will work more with his team:
– The next test for us is in Portimão, which is a very different type of track from Jerez. Now we have to improve the entry into the corners because I have some grip issues. We have to improve the entry into the corners and the turning of the bike. We are working hard on that and I hope that in Portimão we can make some improvements. Portimão has many ups and downs and wheelies. But usually Kawasaki is strong there, so we’ll see how we are when we get there.
