Augusto Fernández is excited about the return of MotoGP to Europe and especially to one of his favorite tracks, Jerez. Knowing that his bike can be fast in Spain, this serves as motivation for the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 rider.
The Spanish rider began by recalling the last GP to address the home round: ‘Austin was a tough weekend, because even though we scored points, we wanted much more, so I am looking forward to a new race week in Jerez’.
Like his teammate, he is aware of the potential of the KTM RC16 on the circuit: ‘We have in mind that our bike works well at this track, and our testing team has been working hard, with positive results, so it’s an extra boost for us. We are back racing in Europe, in front of our Spanish fans, which makes me very excited’.
And he concluded: ‘Jerez is one of my favorite weekends on the calendar, so we will try to have fun and get a little closer to the top guys’.
