Augusto Fernández is ready to face MotoGP this season in a renewed team, now with new colors. Confident in what he has to do now, the Spanish rider believes he has what it takes to do well.
In the presentation of Red Bull GASGAS Tech3, #37 recalled his debut season: ‘Everything was new and there was a lot to learn last year, but there were points at the end of the season where I felt fast and like I had speed. I felt comfortable riding the bike, but as a rookie, I had to be very patient and trust the process. When I finished 2023, I analyzed the season and saw that I had taken the steps I needed to take’.
Next, he spoke about his expectations for 2024: ‘I’m looking forward to this year because now I have the references of each track with the GASGAS RC16 and I know that on Fridays we have to contribute a lot because that can decide a big part of the weekend. I’m very proud of the partnership with Red Bull and having them on the bike. It’s a dream, and we have everything we need to perform well. It’s in our hands, so let’s do it’.
