After the first two rounds of this MotoGP season, Augusto Fernández is not having an easy task. However, now that he arrives at the Circuit of the Americas race, the Spanish rider hopes to continue progressing and improving his feelings aboard the KTM RC16.
The rider is ready to make a competitive leap on the American track, as stated in a team statement: ‘After the first two rounds that were not easy, I am looking forward to going to Austin, to continue working, improving and recovering our feelings with the bike. COTA is fantastic, very spectacular and I really enjoy riding there, so I am happy to be back in the USA. We will continue to work hard and return to our level very soon’.
Fernández has accumulated 5 points so far in the championship in what is his second season in MotoGP, he who, it should be noted, has already acknowledged the need to show good results on track in order to secure a place on the grid from next year.
