There have been rumors for a few weeks now about Aruba.it also entering the MotoE World Championship this year, in a project that would join their successful ventures in the Superbike and Supersport World Championships. However, nothing has been officially announced yet.
Serafino Foti, team manager, told the website GPOne.com that the decision hasn’t been made yet, but MotoE suits Aruba.it: ‘We haven’t made a final decision yet, but we are seriously considering the matter. MotoE is certainly a category that reflects the philosophy of the company Aruba, which as you know is already involved in Superbike and Supersport.’
In 2023, Aruba.it was responsible for the operation of three Ducati wildcards in MotoGP, something they won’t be able to repeat this year – as the manufacturer doesn’t have the possibility to register wildcards due to the lack of concessions.
