Raúl Fernández lamented the lack of new material that the CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team is having at the end of this season for their 2022 Aprilia RS-GP bikes and hopes that things will be different for the better next year.
The Spanish rider told the press that the Noale manufacturer will provide more assistance in 2024, in addition to having more experience: ‘The most important thing is the experience we gain this year – more from the team, Aprilia gathers a lot of information, they will try to help us with more people in the garage. The material will also change a lot and that is something that will help us‘.
Questioned about whether the 2024 motorcycle will be available to RNF, Fernández stated: ‘I don’t believe so, I would like to, but I don’t believe so. Honestly, what we have is not a disaster, we see that the motorcycle is working well. We just need to do more kilometers and try to finish races. Anyway, they said that maybe next year we will have some new parts on the motorcycle and something different. If we have to stay with some upgrades, they will try to give them to us, and I am happy about that. Maybe it’s important to change things a bit. For us, it’s important to feel that we have confidence from Aprilia. Hopefully, everything they say will change next year‘.
