There is concerning news about Andrea Dovizioso, as the former rider suffered a major accident and had to be taken to the hospital to assess his health condition. It all happened this morning and the initial reports suggest a possible head injury, without much further details.
According to RAI, the incident took place in Dovizioso’s hometown, Arezzo, in Italy, requiring medical intervention to airlift the Italian to Careggi Hospital in Florence.
Despite the lack of information, the rider suffered a head injury but apparently seems to be out of danger despite the severity of the accident, and is not in critical condition.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time Dovi has sustained an injury in motocross, as in 2020 he crashed and was unconscious with injuries to his clavicle.
