Saturday overshadowed by a tragedy at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit. Amateur rider Andrea Bergamelli died on the track that usually hosts the MotoGP Valencia Grand Prix.
According to a statement from the circuit, the Italian born in 1988 was participating in an activity of Gully Racing when he was involved in the accident with several riders on the main straight.
Bergamelli was promptly assisted by the medical team and transported to the medical center. However, it was not possible to save the life of this amateur rider.
