At the beginning of this week it was announced that Aruba.it Ducati – Racing will have Nicolò Bulega on the grid next year alongside Álvaro Bautista in WSBK, which means the departure of Michael Ruben Rinaldi, whom the current world championship leader has not forgotten.
The champion welcomed the Italian, who will be promoted from WSSP, to the team: ‘I would like to welcome Nicolò Bulega as my teammate next season. He is having a great championship in the SuperSport and will undoubtedly be a very competitive rider in the WorldSBK’.
His current teammate also had something to say: ‘At the same time, I wish the best of luck to Michael Rinaldi. I am sorry to see him leave the team because I got along very well with him: he is a good guy, a fast rider, and I know he is working hard to improve’.
