There are only two years to go until the new 2027 MotoGP regulations, which will result in completely different bikes – including engines and tyres. However, Álex Rins remains focused on the present.
The Monster Energy Yamaha rider stated: ‘I’m fully focused on 2025, on the current bike. For sure, the guys are starting to have meetings with the Pirelli staff and all those things’.
However, as a rider, Rins prefers to keep his focus on the present, since the priority is to make improvements now after the sporting difficulties Yamaha has faced:
– Maybe if we were in another situation, for sure I could start thinking about it. But, right now, the current situation is that we need to keep working and keep improving our bike. And this keeps my whole head thinking about that.
