One of the novelties in the last major Grand Prix of 2023 will be Álex Rins. The rider, who missed the last four stages of the MotoGP world championship, announced on his Instagram profile that he will take over the controls of the LCR Honda at the Cheste circuit.
‘Let’s go together to the last race. See you all in Valencia’, wrote Rins.
The Spaniard recovered from a double surgical intervention – hernia and compartmental syndrome in his right leg – and during this period of absence, he was replaced by Iker Lecuona.
Despite having been out in the last races, the Spanish rider has accumulated 54 points and is in 18th place in the overall MotoGP standings.
Next season, Alex will take over the reins of Yamaha.
