Álex Rins was only one season at LCR Honda in MotoGP, moving to Monster Energy Yamaha as early as 2024. The first contact with the YZR-M1 was at the end of November on the test day in Valencia.
Quoted by the newspaper Marca, the Spanish rider mentioned that the differences were already evident at various levels, also revealing that he has a telemetry technician back in his team with whom he had worked at Suzuki:
– I noticed quite a few changes. The most noticeable physically was the position of the bike, I felt less pain with one bike than with the other. I felt a lot of difference in the electronics, engine management, team, I brought back a telemetry technician that I had at Suzuki, this helps you feel more comfortable.
