Being always on the limit is practically a way of life for Marc Márquez, and he mentioned his younger brother Álex. The Gresini rider, who is heading into his second season with Ducati, now with Marc by his side, recalled how Marc did his best to improve the Honda RC213V, at the cost of many crashes.
The Spanish rider, who had previously stated that he had no influence on #93’s decision to join Ducati, with the Gresini Racing colors in this case, recalled in words to Catalunya Radio: ‘I didn’t influence his decision to come to Ducati at all. Every rider has a different style, and this year they were very fast with this bike.’
Álex then recalled that Marc had a very tough year and that he tried until the last moment to contribute as much as possible to Honda’s improvement, even falling many times in the process:
– Marc, on the other hand, crashed more than thirty times because he always had to push the limits to try to make the Honda perform at its best.
It is worth remembering that Marc Márquez broke his record for crashes in 2023, with a total of 29 in 17 rounds.
