This year, Marc Márquez was the rider who crashed the most in MotoGP, something that happened 29 times. With this, he broke his own record, in a season of great adversities imposed by the lack of competitiveness of the Honda RC213V.
Álex Márquez was approached by Catalunya Radio about the reason why his brother crashed so many times throughout the year. The #73 justified it by the fact that Marc had to exceed the limits of the bike:
– When you don’t reach the level of the other bike, the rider has to give 110 percent, all day above the limits, that’s why Marc crashed so many times this year. You go beyond the limits of your bike because you want to be where the others are.
