Alessandro Zaccone led the second practice session of the French MotoE GP this morning at Le Mans. It was also the fastest session of the two held, with all riders improving compared to the first practice.
The initial leader when most of the riders had completed flying laps was Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini), who was later surpassed by Andrea Mantovani (Klint Forward).
Then, with just over five minutes completed, Zaccone (Tech3 E-Racing) took the lead and reinforced his position by setting a time of 1m40.262s that was never beaten.
The closest competitor was Héctor Garzó (Dynavolt Intact GP), who was 0.160s slower. In third place was Nicholas Spinelli (Tech3 E-Racing) at 0.245s, followed by Óscar Gutiérrez (Axxis-MSI) and Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar). Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team), the championship leader, finished 11th, 0.485s off the pace.
