This MotoGP championship is proving to be super competitive and many seem to believe that the title decision will last until the last GP in Valencia. As for Aleix Espargaró, he believes that the main pursuer – Jorge Martin – should already be leading with a significant points advantage over the second.
The Spanish rider talked about his compatriot and the pressure being exerted on him, which is also affecting him, as in words to Manuel Pecino: ‘I see him well. I also tell you that I saw that he had a lot of pressure in these three races and they were complicated for him. He arrived quite tired after the last Grand Prix mentally, so I think this disconnection did him a lot of good. In Bali, he can recharge his batteries and trained very well. He has been playing a lot with my kids’.
Espargaró also believes that Martin should already be in the lead, not just by a few points: ‘For me, he is doing an excellent job, a ten, he should be 40 points ahead’.
